Grace and the WIP Wednesday Link-Up

I’m going to give it to you straight.

Yesterday (Tuesday), I worked all morning as I had an unexpected client need an appointment which filled my morning.

Then my son napped for only 1 hour which gave me enough time to fix and eat my lunch and grab a few moments rest on the couch.

Then I chose to watch a movie with the hubby after dinner and video chatted with my Allume roomies.

So I didn’t have time to write my WIP post. Grace please? I’m learning to prioritize and some other things just ranked higher yesterday. I finished 7 (well relatively…I got to Day twenty something of month 7 before my “loan” expired on my Kindle) by Jen Hatmaker and really want to discuss my thoughts. So be looking for that next week! Have you read it? What did you think?

I also want you to know that it’s very important to me that I read each and every post that is submitted for WIP Wednesday. I haven’t gotten to everyone from last week, but I will.

Thanks for understanding y’all! I just love the community that’s growing here and seeing your faces pop up down there as the day progresses!

Work In Progress Wednesday

It’s time for the WIP (Work in Progress) Wednesday Link-Up!

This week’s featured post: Since I haven’t been able to read every post from last week, I don’t feel like it’s right to pick a single post to feature!
Maybe we will have a double feature next week to make up for it!?

What is God doing in your life? Link up a post below or let’s chat in the comments! Please make sure you link back to newlifesteward.com! This helps promote the community and allows everyone’s posts to be shared. :) If you aren’t sure how to do that, e-mail me! I’ll be glad to help!

Link Up Rules:

  • Please link to the post’s permalink so that it will go directly to the post you want us to read.
  • In the “Name” space, put the title of your post.
  • Limit 3 Links per week.
  • Please take time to visit the blogger before you and encourage them in their comments.
  • Use Hashtag #WIPwed when you tweet about your post!
  • One Post will be featured each week from the previous week’s Linky!

  1. It’s nice to get a peek into your life :-) Much love x

  2. Sounds like you made wise choices…this is my first time linking up…Thanks, Mary Beth :)

  3. LOL! Mary Beth, this non-post may be one of the most refreshing posts I’ve read in a while!
During the last three months, I’ve had two times when I completely skipped posting for the week, simply because other priorities interferred…and there ARE many things in life that are higher priorities than the next blog post.
This week, I was on-track for another unintended skip…but I had something God had put on my heart that I really wanted to say. So, I wound up cramming an entire blog post into a single lunch hour…hit “publish” and hoped it had no major errors… Whew! :-p
So, yes…plenty of grace from here…hoping you’ll have grace for me, as well…

    • I sometimes think those are the best posts! The ones we just spit out really fast without analyzing every sentence! I look forward to reading what was pressed on your heart!

  4. Oh yes, you chose the wiser things last night, I am certain of it. Bless you, Mary Beth, thank you for hosting this lovely link up.

  6. I checked earlier and I’m #7 in waiting for 7 at the library! kinda funny…didn’t even think to check if they’d let me loan it on my kindle! duh!

And growing community is right! Grace pouring down on you plenty. I don’t know how you do it all…
Hugs to you, friend! hoping date night still happens for the both of us tomorrow ;) #FMFParty!

    • I would’ve much rather had it in my hands! I’m learning that I don’t think I’m much of an “eReader”! I love being able to flip back and find things.

I’m hoping to make it tomorrow night! Football season is kicking my tail! It sucks away all of my Saturday. No home game this weekend, so I’m hoping to play some catch up!

  7. There is always grace! Sometimes we just need to step aside and be…

  8. Thanks for your example in putting first things first with your family and home, and for your personal connection here, trying to read every linkup. And thanks for this linkup!

Sometimes just sharing what your life is like in this very busy moment is the best post of all. Praying for you, Mary Beth. Hang in there! You’re doing a great job. :)

  10. Sounds like you made the most of your day! Grace and love to you, girl:)

  11. Grace ;) Of course! We receive thus we give <3 ya girl!

  12. nothing but grace…no need to preform here in your very own space…thanks for just being honest…blessings~

  13. How can we not give you grace when we have been graced beyond measure? And as an added measure, my post is REALLY short today! :) Blessings!

All is grace:) And 7 is a great book. Kind of like a practical application of Crazy Love and Radical. Looking forward to reading your thoughts!

    • I’m about to start Radical with my small group! I’m nervous!

      • So in trying to hit reply, I hit those arrows beside it a billion times. I have no idea what they mean, please ignore them!!! What I wanted to say was that 7 is awesome, and I can’t wait to hear about Radical. And I don’t know how you do it either – you are totally allowed some down time. :)

        • I think the arrows are similar to “like” and “unlike” on Facebook. But I don’t know! haha! I really enjoyed 7 as well. Definitely making me stop and think about some things. We will see what Radical does…I like that my husband and I will be reading it together.

          Thanks for your grace!
